Pastor Bill and Ron want to put more focus on the men’s ministry in the church so they have decided to have the men host a chili cook-off for the church before the “Big Game” on the 13th. We’ll have our normal classes on 13 February from 4:30-5:30 and then EVERYONE (not just guys) is welcome to join us for chili, food, football, and fun from 5:30 until the game ends. The game will be on the projector in the youth room and for those who would rather socialize there will be board games and card games in the fellowship hall. Maybe some of the Golden Girls can teach us dominos. For the kids who aren’t interested in football, we’ll have a movie, games, and crafts in the youth lounge.

We’re asking men, children to feel free to help their dads, to cook their best chili, and bring it in a crockpot (along with any toppings) to the fellowship hall around 4:00. Ladies (or guys if you can’t do chili), we’d love to have you bring snacks, desserts, dips, chips, etc. to enjoy during the game. Those can be brought up to the youth room before we eat. We’ll cover the utensils, bowls, and drinks.
