I am a first time guest. Where do I park for Morning Bible Study?

Guest parking is located on the right side of the church building. You will enter the Welcome Center where a guest service coordinator will direct you to the correct class for your family.

I am coming to a worship service. Where do I park?

A large parking area is located in the front of the sanctuary. You will walk through the double doors into the foyer of the sanctuary.

Where do I take my young children and youth on Sunday morning?

Parking is located in the back of the sanctuary behind our gymnasium off of Owens Lane. Preschoolers and children will enter the children’s welcome center. Youth will enter the back of the sanctuary under the drive-thru awning.  Take the elevator to go upstairs to the youth area.

Where is the Fellowship Hall located?

The fellowship hall is located at the back of the building on the side nearest to Publix.

Is there a dress code?

We do not have a specific dress code. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Is childcare available?

We have childcare for newborn to K-4 for both services with age-appropriate Bible study from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. K-3 and K-4 children attend Mauldin Kids Jr. Sunday service from 10:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

K-5 through 5th Graders have age appropriate Bible study from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and Mauldin Kids Sunday Service from 10:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. You can pick them up following the worship service at the children’s worship room which is located at the very end of the 2nd floor hallway.

What are the differences between each worship service?

Our 8:15 a.m. service is a traditional worship service. This includes worship with our choir which is accompanied by an organ and/or piano.

Our 10:45 a.m. service is a contemporary worship service. This includes a contemporary music led by a praise team.

Both services have the same message from our pastor and may include dramas, testimonies and brief videos that are related to the worship theme.

DONATION FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How can funds be withdrawn directly from my account?

Only with your authorization via your electronic signature. No one can deduct money from your account automatically unless you specifically authorize it.

Are electronic contributions risky?

No. An electronic contribution is safer than writing a check, and it can’t be lost, stolen, or destroyed in the mail. All Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) transactions are governed by strict national rules and guidelines. over four billion EFT transactions are processed annually in the United States.

When would this automatic contribution be taken from my account?

On the signup screens, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, or as designated. When the date you have selected falls on a weekend or holiday, the transaction will occur on the next banking day.

Can I try out the service by giving one time?

Yes. You may try On-Line Giving by selecting “One Time” in the frequency drop-down box in the signup process. You will see how easy and efficient the process really is.

If I don't write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight?

Your contribution is made on a pre-established day, so you can deduct it from your check record then.

How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed?

Your bank statement will include an itemized list of automatic gifts given from your account. We will continue to provide you with a personal giving statement for your tax records.

What if I change banks or accounts...or what if I want to change the amount of my contribution?

You can change your giving choices at any time through the website. This can be accessed through this website by clicking on the “About” menu button located at the top of the Home Page, then select “Tithing and Giving”. Simply click on the link – Change or Cancel your recurring donation – then enter your login credentials.

How do I participate in the weekly offering if my contribution is automatically deducted from my bank account?

If you wish, you can write “I’m Giving Online” on the giving envelope and place it in the offering basket, but it is not necessary.

Is there any charge to me from my bank to give on-line?

No. Electronic funds transfers carry no bank fees.

Can I designate my giving on-line?

Yes, you can give your General Fund Tithes and Offerings, building fund offering, or pay Mauldin Christian Academy tuition. If you have a heart to donate to a specific ministry, please contact the ministry leader in that area, or place your donation in the collection.
