FAQ
Most frequent questions and answers
Where should I park when I visit for the first time?
We recommend parking in the main front parking lot of the church connected to Owens Lane. This lot leads directly to our New Here Desk and Entrance A, making it the easiest place for first-time guests to start.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before the service starts so you have time to park, check in the kids, and find a comfortable seat.
Which entrance should I use when I arrive?
Please enter through Entrance A. These 2 entrances are closest to Main St. You can also follow the signage to our New Here Desk where our Guest Services team will be ready to greet you and help you get oriented.
What is the Welcome Center and why should I stop there?
The Welcome Center is where you can get information about everything happening at MFB. This is also where the coffee bar is located to get some refreshments before the service begins.
What if I’m not sure where to go or I arrive a little late?
That’s okay! Head toward the New Here Desk or Entrance A and follow the signage to the Worship Center. Our team is happy to help at any point, whether you arrive early or right as the service begins.
Where do I take my children when we arrive?
We have a few dedicated “Check-In points for you to get your child checked into our kids spaces. Our team will help you check in your children and show you where their age-appropriate environments are located.
What do you have for our kids?
We offer age-group appropriate programming for your preschool, elementary, middle, or high school student.
We also offer a special children’s worship service for K5 – 5th grade during our regular worship services.
If you’d like to register your child before you arrive, simply click the button below and your child will already be in our system for quick check-in when you’re on campus.
Will my kids be safe?
Yes, absolutely. Safety is a top priority for us. All of our volunteers are carefully screened, and we follow strict safety guidelines to ensure your children are well-cared for. We also have security always monitoring during service hours.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! Some of us like to dress up, while others prefer casual attire. Either way, you’ll fit right in.
Do I need to register or let you know I’m coming?
No, pre-registration is not required. However, if you plan your visit in advance, we’ll be ready to greet you and help you get settled in. If you have children and want them in an environment geared for their ages, preregistering allows for a quicker check-in process to get them situated in Mauldin Kids.
What happens after the service?
If you have questions or want to learn more about Mauldin First Baptist, feel free to stop by the
Welcome Center again after the service. We’d love to connect with you and help you take next
steps.
How do I get involved?
We offer several community groups that meet on Sundays and throughout the week, along with mission activities both locally and globally. Just let us know, and we’ll help you get plugged in!
