What To Expect?

If you live in Upstate South Carolina, we hope that you will consider becoming part of the faith-family at Mauldin First Baptist. We’re more than a church, we are a people who share a common commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord. It’s a spiritual family . . .

  • Where all people are accepted and loved.
  • Where you can find groups and discipleship devoted to your preschoolers, children, and teenagers.
  • Where you can get involved and really make a difference.
  • Where you will be challenged to love the Lord, to share life with others, to serve people and to make disciples.

Come As You Are

“What should I wear?” It’s a common question. But it’s really up to you; it’s not a big deal to us. A few will be really dressed up, a few will be really dressed down, but most will be casual and comfortable or somewhere in between.

Find Your Way at MFB

Visiting Mauldin First Baptist should be simple and stress-free, and our floor maps are designed to help you do just that. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular attendee, these maps clearly show all the key areas of our church, including worship spaces, fellowship areas, ministry offices, children’s and student ministries, and hallways for easy navigation.

Each level is clearly labeled so you can quickly locate where you need to go, whether it’s the Worship Center, Mauldin Kids Area, or one of our many ministry spaces.

Bring the Kids

Another common question we hear is: “What do you offer for kids and students?”

We offer intentional, age-appropriate programming for preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students.

During our regular worship services, children in K5–5th grade begin in the Worship Center with their families and are dismissed early in the service to a children’s worship experience designed specifically for them. An announcement is made from the stage when it’s time for children to transition.

Students in 6th–12th grade gather for youth ministry on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM. On Sunday mornings, students worship alongside their families as part of the larger church body.

Get Connected

One of the most important ministries we have is our community groups. Community groups are where you will build loving and lasting relationships that make all the difference. We offer community groups for all ages on Sunday mornings, plus we have many groups that meet at different times all throughout the week. We also offer several mission activities where you can apply your faith, right here in your neighborhood, or on mission trips across America and all around the world. Let us know if you need to get connected to a group!
